Additive manufacturing plays a pivotal role in the defense industry by enabling rapid prototyping, customization, and cost-effective production of complex parts. It enhances the development of lightweight and durable components critical for military equipment, while also supporting local production, fast iteration, and rapid deployment of systems such as drones and other defense technologies. Ultimately, this agility strengthens national security by accelerating innovation and operational readiness.

"Tectonic 3D’s KRATIR PP-CF completely redefined what’s possible in lightweight UAV manufacturing. It’s the first filament that allowed us to print ultra-thin, single-wall structures with the strength and thermal resilience needed for real-world performance - and the surface finish is perfect straight off the printer."
